I was thinking of the other supermaxx parts... RacerX is what I meant, those are the good parts to use.

But really I think I'm just dreaming about the low weight Maxx. It is never going to happen. The current Maxx project will likely never end. And then I've got the Savvy to civilize. |

Yeah we Maxx builders are pathetic. *Cough* Mark! We are never ever done! Except perhaps Jordan's build and a hand full of others like some of Mikak's where they is no way to spend anymore money!! One thing I haven't seen is a BL Razorback! :surprised: That would be stupid. Nice truck! Jayjay! Yeah mine is fairly low weight at 11lbs running. Really one of the few things I wait is a full(yet 4 shocks) setbacked highimpact RacerX with the 8mm CVDs. I think I have a slightly tweaked stub axles thingy. |
Lightweight Emaxx = easy, if you know how:

Back in the day, all the UE guys who raced the small-block Maxx class were building LRMs (Lite-Race-Maxxes), which were sub-7lb RTR nitro Maxxes...using the Predator chassis and the either the Pro-Line Wide-Maxx suspension or stock Traxxas 2.5 suspension, with plastic bulks and everything else.
I am sure, though, that you could get a brushless Maxx just as light by using the carbon-fiber Gorillamaxx chassis and other well chosen parts. |

Does it void the warrenty to run without the fan? I'm thinking yes. |
Yes. It does void the warranty.
