Love the roses background!

I like that it Is a re-buildable design, they also dropped the "s" desgnation so maybe it's a little longer as well

Mister-T 07.24.2009 01:23 PM

looks like that keep the low kv feature of there motor ... Slotless design + sensored ?
That motor must be ubersmooth to run !

brushlessboy16 07.24.2009 03:21 PM

Cant wait, the data logging ability will be awesome

Just got off the phone with castle. they plan on making lower kv 10th scale motors to run 6s in tenth scale. to improve efficiency and lower heat.. talking about 6s 2000mah packs for 10th scale..

might have to trade in my MMM for MMP

ravin 07.24.2009 03:32 PM

I posted this in a different thread.....The reason I posted this ...."It's going to be a cm-36 L 2200 mt motor"....is that it was on the box(at my LHS) that a new cm6900 was in. It was the last motor listed on the box, also on the side it gave the watts of the cm36s and cm36L...the L was 1200constant 2000 peak

SpEEdyBL 07.24.2009 04:47 PM

Isn't that 1200/2000 watt rating more like the rating for the Mamba Monster motors? What if the that cm36L is refering to the Neu-Castle 2200? (I know the Neu-Castle is not 36mm, more like 40/42 mm)

But heck, I just want to run this on 4-6s with my Tekin T8 1900 kv motor in my 8ight and use the sensors. I don't see why the MM pro wouldn't be able to handle it easily because of the relatively low current the 1900 kv draws.

nitrostarter 07.24.2009 05:19 PM

The Neu 1415 is a 36mm can tho...

BlackedOutREVO 07.24.2009 06:59 PM

I dont feel like reading through all the pages

But is this ESC going to have Dynamic timing? For the 10.5, 13.5 guys?

Mister-T 07.24.2009 08:11 PM

Most likely yes, and even better with there boost feature. I will probably sell my MMM, once MMP will be available. On a light 8th scale setup that will be killer

Metallover 07.25.2009 02:20 PM

I'm pretty sure it'll have a dynamic timing feature... I thought I read it earlier.. Not sure though.

edit - It has a sensorless, sensored, and sensored hybrid mode where it advances the timing.

I hope its as fast as the SPX and the tekin on the 200 update. Everyone knows them as the 2 speed esc. Looks like its shifting into 2nd gear on the straight. Its funny

Hybrid is different from sensored timing boost. Like I said, the SPX and the Rs pro are pretty dang fast.

I just hope it will compete. I like CC stuff. But if it isnt fast, then its back to the trusty LRP

The hybrid mode will have a timing boost (PLL) mode. Also, it will be selectable as to come-in speed, and max timing boost.

MMP will not have data logging. Sorry! Have to wait one more generation for data logging.

Yes, that was a nice feature to play with.
