I'm sure you've checked, but was wondering if the tires rub against the body when the suspention is fully compressed. Hard to tell by the pics.

Questions time. I was mocking up my LST with a RC-M Losi cd mount and I noticed that the 1717 would hit the diff output with 12/50 gearing unless I clearances the fins on the motor. You have the same issue with your custom mounts? Looking back at the 1st page of this thread I noticed you were going to go with 12/54 with an AE cd, you happen to know if the AE 54t fits the Losi cd?

Here's mine with 14/50 gearing. Notice that with my 1/4" motor mount the fins are beyond the diff output, so I have plenty of room.

The AE 54t spur is not a direct fit on the Losi diff cup. But if you got the entire AE diff, I think it would fit in the Losi mount. Here is the length of the RC8T diff:

Thanks for the info! I didn't think about spacing the motor out until you pointed that out. Would save me from buying another cd or hunting some down Muggy diff gears.

Yea that looks good. I have to admit I was a little worried when you posted the first photo. That was not looking so great, but it actually turned out nice. Hey JayJay long time no see. Nice to see you posting again.

Yeh, the finishing touch's have made a real difference. Another nicely done project Brian:yes: What does it handle like with that big body?

I guess I have to drive it first to answer that. Maybe this weekend I'll take it out for its maiden voyage.

(On the other hand, it looks so nice and clean, I don't want to get it too dirty :oops: )
