Nice - thanks for the info.

I just wish they would hurry:002:

I'm working on my conversion right now and really want to get the motor and speed control sometime soon. It's just tough having the thing just sitting there, you know? Well, hopefully they'll get it dialed sooner rather than later.

Do you know if they have already started testing the ESC? I am just so excited to see this thing, especially with the capabilities on 6s, 12s, ect. That is just awesome. :004:

MetalMan 02.25.2007 12:58 AM

There hasn't been any testing outside of CC. Beta testing will be done before the system (or ESC) goes out to the public. You'll know when it's that time ;).

Ok...thats a bit more comforting.

Does anyone think a 1950/6 Hi-Amp on 4S will do 50mph? My G2R only weighs ~9 pounds...

Crazy - what are you planning to put the 2250 in?

crazyjr 02.25.2007 03:09 AM

Not sure yet, I got a savage with a 22 motor mount, an MGT that i want to convert to electric and i'm also thinking about a custom motor mount for my slipperential equiped Gmaxx, so thinking about it till the mmm comes out

captain harlock 02.25.2007 05:33 AM

Will the MMM motors be equipped with segmented rotors and built in heatsinks? If they are based on the Neu motors?

Serum 02.25.2007 06:50 AM

no one knows....

glassdoctor 02.25.2007 01:14 PM

There are no MMM controllers right now... betas are expected within a couple months last I heard. So don't expect anything too soon.

IF everything goes perfect... I would say June is a possibility. That's just my guess.

I'm expecting a beta unit but we'll see... I have no guarantees with Shawn no longer there.

MetalMan 02.25.2007 01:19 PM

GD, have you received any emails within the past month or two from Lee? He's the beta guy as far as I know (been getting emails from him regarding beta testing). You may want to contact him about getting on "the list" since you should be on it.

BlackedOutREVO 02.26.2007 01:13 AM

we all need to be on it =P

jw, the mmm will be taking more cells then a quark rite? 2 times as many if i remember rite... and that will be sick lookin, a green neu lol that will be soo cool if thats how it looks

crazyjr 02.26.2007 03:17 PM

Thats the HV one, the standard MMM will do 6s, which will make the quark look like junk for specs, because it still will not do 6s despite the 6s rating

BlackedOutREVO 02.26.2007 03:35 PM

yeh, do u guys really think it will do 12 cell lipos???? thats waaay higher then most of the car speedos if not all, i havent seen a car/truck speedo thats capable of a 12 cell

jnev 02.26.2007 08:41 PM

I think I remember Cool Hand Country trying to run 10s if I remember correctly. But I haven't seen a anyone try 12s before.

Sylvester 02.26.2007 08:50 PM

Coolhand acutally ran 12s limn in his GTX2..
