Thomas, when these become available in a hydra version as well, you can consider a bunch sold! PLENTY of 10s-12s power boats built.

Check offshoreelectrics.com

No baja, not cool enough for that, but I do have a very large and heavy Savage XL already w/ a 1521 on 8S. Been using an HV MGM for a while, but want to see how the CC esc stacks up.

Come on now...

thomatrix 03.13.2010 03:59 AM

I am one (important) item away from starting on my Baja 5B project.

Now here is the setup as I see it:
Car: HPI Baja SS (got three to choose from)
BEC: CC BEC PRO (got it)
Motor: Neu 2215 750KV (On it's way from offshoreelectrics)
Kit: RC-Monster (hoping Mike will soon get it done:love:)
Batteries: Will test 8S, 10S and 12S setup (Got all the batteries)
ESC: What I really want is your ICE HV Car ESC but for now I have the Turnigy Monster-2000 200A 4-12S Brushless ESC and will test on that.

Just wondering if we had a controller how many people would actually be ready for a controller today.

Thanks for the feedback fellas!

I have CASH waiting, but it may be best to put it in a mason jar and bury it in the back yard! LOL

SV6000 03.23.2010 09:05 PM

I have sold off not needed plettenberg motors, MGM and schulze speedys, flightpower bateries and have a credit card with a huge limit and cash all for this Castle controller

lutach 03.23.2010 09:11 PM

I'll wait until you guys test it out. Patience is my best friend. I do have a nice HV set up that will keep me occupied until the Castle HV controllers comes out .

Thomas Porfert 03.23.2010 10:02 PM

Patience is certainly a virtue. Anyone who rode out the V1/V2 MMM storm knows this first hand. We learn from our mistakes and as such we do a couple of rounds of thorough testing on every new product; using as many real world scenarios and setups as possible.

Rest assured the gears are turning and many things are happening as we speak. This thing will be here before you know it, but we're not letting any dates slip as of yet. As soon as there is any new information available, this will be the first place I go.

Castle is coming out with many new products, there are so many I'd love to tell you about... but I'm not going to spoil anything; I'll let Pat be the one to break the news on upcoming releases. :) Let me just say that we have just seen the tip of what this technology has to offer and the next year should be quite exciting. We came out swinging with the Phoenix ICE line and the Mamba Max Pro, and we don't plan on letting up anytime soon.
