Oh, maybe he did use 12s. Do you remember how that went for him? Any problems running such high voltage?
Well, electronic wise, it went ok, but the spur gears didn't appreciate the power. LOL I think he stripped a bunch just from giving too much throttle at too low of a speed. Imagine the power of 12S...you could have a 100+mph G2R (Hello touring car killer?). I'd love to see a setup G2R blazing past touring cars on the onroad track.

I have seen posts from Joe describing standing backflips with a 12 pound Gmaxx, I would guess thats the hv model
Nah, you don't need crazy high voltage to do that. Standing backflips can be done on as little as 5S or even 4S with the right motor and gearing.

The schulze continent sized controller( 160.40) can handle over 12s easily.
It's sooooooo damn huge, though. |
and the schulze also costs a TON of money lol

I think he has this mixed up with the re-opening of the GorillaMaxx site.
I'm planning to get a MGM16024 controller very soon, but would you think it's better to wait for the Monster Max, although it's pretty early?
Yep, you are right. I think I am starting to go blind, lol. I was talking about the Gorillamaxx website.
Lol Oooops:d
I ran the 12 limn just like lipo on 36120 bk micro.
