Motor looks nice Kaz... |
Center ring and pinion, gas tank, and upgrade kit gear plate.
I'm selling my LST2, 1515/1Y, and MMM now also. I found these motor mounts. I might go with them. http://www.southriverrcboats.com/sho...3DWRP-B-358%26 |
Boat mounts! they should work great! And you can mount them anywhere.

you can get them for 15xx or 22xx series. i cant remember who tried them but someone here on the forum had tried them and said they werent the greatest but i think they should hold. it says the 22xx series mount is .33" thick. i hope you get your stuff sold soon. i have so much stuff up for sale right now too. i am selling all those rampage parts i got on ebay. there was only a couple of things i needed. so i just finished getting all the shocks done. now i have a complete set of Baja shocks on my Ramp. they are so smooth and supple. for the rear i just used a set of baja fronts straight up. for the fronts i had to cut about 12mm off the shock body and shaft. .then i made the shaft use e-clips to hold the piston instead of a nut. i think it will hold up. but i just love how these shocks feel with the petroleum oil instead of silicone. baja shock shaft before: <a href="http://s471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/?action=view¤t=DSC01262.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/DSC01262.jpg" border="0" alt="redcat44"></a> after modding: <a href="http://s471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/?action=view¤t=DSC01261.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/DSC01261.jpg" border="0" alt="redcat45"></a> <a href="http://s471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/?action=view¤t=DSC01259.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/DSC01259.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/?action=view¤t=DSC01264.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/DSC01264.jpg" border="0" alt="redcat42"></a> had to grind away just a tiny bit of the a-arms on the front and rear for the baja shocks to freely move. <a href="http://s471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/?action=view¤t=DSC01265.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/DSC01265.jpg" border="0" alt="redcat41"></a> <a href="http://s471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/?action=view¤t=DSC01266.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/DSC01266.jpg" border="0" alt="redcat40"></a> |
I have 2 pair of those boat motor mounts for 15 series neu motors. Not too bad, but I am not sure if I would use them in a car, not the strongest thing I have seem.
That being said if anyone wants them I will sell em off, no use for them. |

btw, you would most likely still want to build some mounting plates in order for this mount to work so you can adjust mesh. otherwise you would need to cut a elongated holes in your chassis. what did you do linc? did you ever use the mount? |
Nope, was going to use them in the baja conversion, but decided that I do not really like 2wd.
I will drop kaz a line, but he needs some 22 series mounts. I think... The redcat is looking good Ryu, I look forward to your progress. |
I think I will just go with a thick piece of angle aluminum for a motor mount.
