Does phoenix hv 110 be enough with Neu 2215 2y and 12s A123 ?

I hope you plan on running 2p or 3p setups with those A123's...

I would ditch them and get some high discharge lipo's...

hv 110 can use with neu 2215 2y or not?

nitrostarter 07.21.2009 12:45 PM

Surely can. Gear appropriately.

nice Kaz,
what parts were you trying to sell on ebay again? you should list them again. they will sell eventually. would love to see you do a conversion also now that you got the motor.

Sure would be, but you'd have to get one with a low KV...

Motor looks nice Kaz...

Center ring and pinion, gas tank, and upgrade kit gear plate.

I'm selling my LST2, 1515/1Y, and MMM now also.

I found these motor mounts. I might go with them.

cool. i have seen those. OSE sells them too: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...jwr-mount-flat

you can get them for 15xx or 22xx series. i cant remember who tried them but someone here on the forum had tried them and said they werent the greatest but i think they should hold. it says the 22xx series mount is .33" thick.

i hope you get your stuff sold soon. i have so much stuff up for sale right now too. i am selling all those rampage parts i got on ebay. there was only a couple of things i needed.

so i just finished getting all the shocks done. now i have a complete set of Baja shocks on my Ramp. they are so smooth and supple. for the rear i just used a set of baja fronts straight up. for the fronts i had to cut about 12mm off the shock body and shaft. .then i made the shaft use e-clips to hold the piston instead of a nut. i think it will hold up. but i just love how these shocks feel with the petroleum oil instead of silicone.

baja shock shaft before:

after modding:

<a href="http://s471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/?action=view&current=DSC01259.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/DSC01259.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
<a href="http://s471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/?action=view&current=DSC01264.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr77/ryujames/DSC01264.jpg" border="0" alt="redcat42"></a>

had to grind away just a tiny bit of the a-arms on the front and rear for the baja shocks to freely move.

I have 2 pair of those boat motor mounts for 15 series neu motors. Not too bad, but I am not sure if I would use them in a car, not the strongest thing I have seem.

That being said if anyone wants them I will sell em off, no use for them.

send a pm to kaz and ask him. he was looking at them.

btw, you would most likely still want to build some mounting plates in order for this mount to work so you can adjust mesh. otherwise you would need to cut a elongated holes in your chassis.

what did you do linc? did you ever use the mount?

lincpimp 07.21.2009 07:41 PM

Nope, was going to use them in the baja conversion, but decided that I do not really like 2wd.

I will drop kaz a line, but he needs some 22 series mounts. I think...

The redcat is looking good Ryu, I look forward to your progress.

KaztheMinotaur 07.21.2009 08:23 PM

I think I will just go with a thick piece of angle aluminum for a motor mount.

Probably for the best. I would make some sort of rear motor support though.

KaztheMinotaur 07.21.2009 10:15 PM

Do you think it necessary with 4 mounting bolts?
