we were all thinking 125 dollar range so 89 dollars rocks does not everyone else agree?
|
I just snagged one. Got a custom idea this might get used on. If not I'll make it work on the mini MGT Ive got sitting here.
I actually like that it comes with the drilling template. Makes it easy to make it work on just about anything. :great: |

I have some 46T Kyosho spur gears I can use with this mount on my gmaxx or supermaxx. |
Maybe Mike will offer a bottom plate for the Tmaxx setup ?
|
Surely
I am sure that this will all work out on some level. First off you cannot tell me that adding the bottom plate to this kit will make this setup an additional $200. That's just rediculous. That plate is a very simple piece to CNC. I can see making some changes to anything in an effort to improve the design for weight, and versitility, but what was wrong with the other design?
This is just like waiting for the Tesla electric sports car to be released, and ending up with an old rusty volkswagon bug with a shop fan motor installed on each wheel to propell it like 10-15 mph. It is just not what allot of us were expecting. Of course we may all be jumping to conclusions over how it works out. We shall see. Poor Harold is on the verge of having a heart attack after receiving note that the design was changed. Mike I know you are reading these so please if possible there are quite a few of us that would still like to purchase a MAXX diff/motor mount just like the one you sold last time with the bottom plate. Is this possible? |
Hey at least your Saints are about to win the Superbowl!!!!!!

No need to be sorry. Neither of them are my teams (still rooting for the Lions and 49'ers) so I pick the team opposite what everyone want to win just to piss people off here oon the ship. But now they're all happy.
I got to go to work. Damn hospital still open even though everything is close. |
It even says not intended for inexperienced hobbiest lol. Drilling 4 holes in a bottom skid plate shouldnt be too hard for the average rc'er. Not everything can be bolt on especially with all the different stock and aftermarket e-maxx type chassis out there (I count at least 8 different configurations not all the same) especially this early stage in production of the mount. All I have to say is finally its here so dont complain. If your going to put this on a lightning chassis I personally would use a GA titanium or stock aluminum ue skid plate and drill and countersink the holes and it should be good to go so so simple.
