Finally got the esc today... Inastalled it and test ran it about 30mins ago on a fully charged 18v drill pack for a demo. On 18v Im quite impressed. It fishtails with ease and gets up to speed very quickly. The mech brakes and everything are working flawlessly. The ESC is running cold and the batts are aswell. I plan to double up that pack from 18v to 36v in a few days. In the meantime, here are some pics...
And ya I have no clue what that yellow stuff is on the tire. Just showed up in the pic. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...cture012-2.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...cture013-2.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...cture014-2.jpg |
Looks great! Can't wait for a vid!

Thanks trev. I am looking forward to trying it on 36v.

pics on post 222 show only a rear driveshaft. Did you reinstall it and keep 4wd? Awesome build! Any chain noise?
|
I can't wait to see it either. Looking nice. what connectors are those on the battery? You plan on using those for the PB batteries?
|
Ya its RWD for now. Very fun indeed. The 4wd upgrade kit is the next thing on my "to get" list. The connectors are astroflight.
