Conclusion... is this esc forward only with "drag brake"? I have to use mecanical brakes? or is posible to configure it to use the motor brake when y brake with the radio ( not when I leave it in neutral).
Exactly! Its plane ESC and plane ESC dont have any other brakes. For plane trottle lowest position is brake and plane ESC arms only in that position! No chance to programm to other way.
Only option is to use additional servo with Y cable for barake

Governor mode for Helis, ESC holds constant speed no mater of load of motor.
Then Heli change pitch on his blades to fly higher it loads the motor and RPM usualy goes down, Governor mode try to compensate RPM's

thanks tom255
then... I'll wait for the MMM, or buy a HV esc for more than 6S and less than 10S, someone knows a cheap HV forward-brake esc?

thanks

Doesn't the HV110 from castle have those options?

Both the Turnigy and CC HV ESCs are air ESCs as others have said. No, their brakes are not set up for car use, but you wouldn't want electric brakes on a HV setup anyway IMO. Why not use a servo for the brakes?

Both are usable with a pistol grip radio.

Something else to consider; air ESCs generally don't have as high of a surge current rating as a car ESC, so pick the right motor wind and gear accordingly to keep current down. Shouldn't need high currents with high voltage though...

That is an airplane controller, but at that price, one would just wait until http://www.himodel.com/electric/HiMo...200A-OPTO.html has them back in stock.

Looks like same esc, shrink just different? Just wondering what kind of brakes it have?

same deal. airplane brakes. If you don't want to use mechanical brakes, you really need to be looking for car controllers. You won't find an HV car controller with decent amp rating for that price.
