Only option is to use additional servo with Y cable for barake Governor mode for Helis, ESC holds constant speed no mater of load of motor. Then Heli change pitch on his blades to fly higher it loads the motor and RPM usualy goes down, Governor mode try to compensate RPM's |
thanks tom255
then... I'll wait for the MMM, or buy a HV esc for more than 6S and less than 10S, someone knows a cheap HV forward-brake esc? thanks |
Doesn't the HV110 from castle have those options?
|
Both the Turnigy and CC HV ESCs are air ESCs as others have said. No, their brakes are not set up for car use, but you wouldn't want electric brakes on a HV setup anyway IMO. Why not use a servo for the brakes?
Both are usable with a pistol grip radio. Something else to consider; air ESCs generally don't have as high of a surge current rating as a car ESC, so pick the right motor wind and gear accordingly to keep current down. Shouldn't need high currents with high voltage though... |
Just found this, ELE Hobby-B 200Amp OPTO Brushless 2-7 LiPo, it can do up to 7 lipos http://www.ele-eu.com/shop/article_2...%26aid%3D20%26
Dunno if it has brakes though.. Same link as translated: http://babelfish.altavista.com/babel...id%253D20%2526 |

Looks like same esc, shrink just different? Just wondering what kind of brakes it have?
|
same deal. airplane brakes. If you don't want to use mechanical brakes, you really need to be looking for car controllers. You won't find an HV car controller with decent amp rating for that price.
