The problem with the brakes on those controllers is that it will basically give you hard brakes. It will lock your wheels and if not carefull do some damage to the drive train. A good thing to do with those controllers is disable the brakes and use the mechanical one or set your radio in a way that it will allow you to freewheel when in nuetral.

i have one on my revo and it has some nice torque, high revving also gets the job done for a 90$ motor

I stand corrected ....if you watch Legobrains video you will see that they do in-fact make a XL version of the finned motor ...my apologies .............I do only have the L version though

yeah, I can look at your motor in the picture and tell it is not as long as my 7XL motor.
