I'm not running any punch control, atm. The setting is 0. Are you saying I should add some to it?

My gearing is 25/58. I can go as far as 25/54 with what parts I have on hand. What would you suggest?

Adding some punch control will lower your peak currents -- so if you think you are bogging down your packs, it will help keep the voltage from the packs more steady.

Try going with the 25/54 gearing and see if it helps with the hesitations/bogging. Usually those issues are current related -- too much current and the batteries just sag badly. Both gearing and punch control can help lower the peak currents.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I put a 2.4ghz Futaba Tx/Rx in the truck and all the bizarre glitching and hiccupping went away like magic.

The Max Amps batteries are preforming beautifully and I couldn't be happier! 2s2p 8k's behind a 1515 1Y is an amazing thing!! I couldn't be happier!!! I need to buy a GPS or small radar gun to find out just how fast this thing is going on 25/58 gearing. But as I'm sure you already know, it's nucking futs!!

:gasp:

LOVE. IT.

The 1515 1y is a great motor. I love mine! if you ever get the opportunity drop the pinion by a tooth or two and run it on 5s. nuking futs turns into just plain stupid.
