If you've already got a Revo use that, and I don't see how buying another one is going to be cheaper than using what you already have. I got my revo 3.3 (with stock tranny) as a roller it will be running a 9XL on 4s with a MM for only $550 for the whole entire thing:gasp:. My brother is converting his dual velineon 2.5r Revo to an E-revo, simply by buying the chassis and a few other minor e-revo pieces; you could do the same as well (of course you'd have to buy the e-revo tranny, my brother already had an emaxx tranny to toss in there.) There you go, you got 2 options that are cheaper than buying an entirely new truck, which has titan 550s and a junk ESC that you would have to sell off. IMO, don't get a Novak system, because it's not worth the money; just get a Mamba Max ESC and a Feigao XL or a Medusa motor which is $220-250.

You can do a cheap conversion with Feigao 9xl, MM ESC, TrueRC 4s2p 8000mAh LiPo. Runs well, plenty of fun, and easy on the wallet. It would at least hold you over until you decide if you like running it brushless enough to drop for a neu or other high end motor.
