My 22418 v3.22 has been working great in my elst running an outrunner. Right now the motor KV is to high for the heavy truck. If you can believe the data logger in the mgm esc its pulling 241amps at full throttle on 4s lipo's.

Thank you guys!!
The only thing i have to do is wait for my e-revo and give a try to my 16018 on 6s:angel: |
I'm going to send my 9032 back for the update. Its been nearly perfect for me. The only glitch I had was an occational brake stab, but looks like this has all been resolved. I had swiched to the two spd and man brakes anyway so it didn't matter.
They catch a lot of flak, but the MGMs are really nice IMO. The software needed refining but the hardware it tops. Software is far more fixable than poor hardware design. My esc never got above 110F even on hot days WOT thru long grass in the revo. |
Does anyone know if the newer MGM controllers have the update already in them?

Am I able to update the firmware myself? Or do I have to send it to MGM? I have the PC USBCOM+ setup.

I just noticed this on MGM's website:
http://update.mgm-compro.cz/index.html Has anyone used this? Looks like you can update the 16018 using this method. |
Yeah, you can use this method but your controller needs to be at V3.20 minimum and u need a special cable (cc_03) from MGM. Also your USBcom needs to be at V3.
