I have an old RC10t just like that. Be careful how much power you bolt into it.
I would suggest just getting a Castle system. SW or MM 5700 on 2s lipo will be very fast and really, more than this truck can handle. you will be looking for parts. :) |
trick
my Feigao 380c 6l would be perfect for that car.....it ran better than my mamba 5700 and my velineon both...its black and finned and in pristine condition ....I only used a very short time and the temps were always great on 3's...I think on 2's it would be more controllable...I had it in my rustler and stampede with mamba max so it has 4mm bullets installed...if you want pics or interested let me know |
I have two old rc10t's. I've had them since they where new. I "refurbished" them for my kids to use. One has a novak ss w/4300 and the other has a novak ss+ w/5800. The white nylon parts don't hold up well to age. RC10GT arms and hubs fit it so you'll be good for awhile. The tranny has no problems with lots of power. The trucks are so light they just loose traction.

Bustitup, I sent you a pm.
Desmo I also have 2, I got the same plan, I want to get this one put together for my kid. Glad to hear the trannys pretty strong. Your trucks look great. Got any pics with the body off? |

chassis pic's, nothing fancy, just runners for the kids. They still have the original rusted steering links  You can see both have rc10gt rear arms
