maybe 52t spur?
or just run 48/20?

5s on 10xl should be great. Gear as low as possible (with in reason of course) at first. Then gear up if everything says nice and cool. I found mine heated up driving off road but was fine on road. Moved the shift point to later and it seems to be fine now off road as well.

well I now can't get this truck to shift to second

saydee1800 09.29.2008 06:43 PM

Good too hear it, I think I am going to pick up a savage roller. Yours looks really nice. Flm's chassis is really clean.

I have a new problem I have Pro-Line 40 Beadlock with Pro-Line tire when I get up in speed they become very woblely

does any on no how to fix this

suicideneil 10.03.2008 09:13 AM

Sounds like they are unbalanced. You basically need to add weights or dremel material from the inside of the tires until they spin without wobble; good luck with that is all I can say. My jumbo maxx rubbers are very unbalanced and come unglued from the rims almost every run- just gotta keep gluing them back on....

I cant seam to get this truck to steer strait with out adjusting the steering on my controller. what is the right servo arm I should use? with this Hitec servo

thanks guys

blueb8llz 10.08.2008 09:56 PM

and you didnt have this problem with the other tires/wheels? if not, then it is most likely unbalance tires. maybe try fitting your tires again, the foams may have shifted inside. do you have sloppy steering? make sure all screws are tightened down on the steering assembly. servo saver spring weak? put some toe in on the rear tires. you can try putting some spacers on the front springs to make them stiffer than the rears. check your hindge pins and shock bottom caps.

Am I the only one to notice this, but aren't the wheels mounted facing the wrong direction of rotation?

saydee1800 10.10.2008 07:39 AM

Thanks Vintage! I did have my tire backwards. Well the steering was not a true problem. I brought my savage in to the shop an ask the. they told me that I will never get the servo to go true 0. We did adjust the sub steering trim and now its prefect.
By the way I have gps this FLM @ 48.2mph geared at 20/52 with my 10xl

blueb8llz 10.10.2008 06:01 PM

so now your trucks tracks straight?

saydee1800 10.10.2008 06:59 PM
