Checked the solder connections...all seem fine
I have shrinkwrap around the Bullets on the MMM blocking the heatsink ground issue
failsafe is neutral
and it wont be used to open a beer unless it burns out and takes my servos out like the last one

think it may have been the spektrum...but time will tell

this thing happend to me....the truck seem to brake suddenly,,, its very tuff on the spur gear:lol:

curiously this issue come only with my mmmv1 and v2 and everything good with the mm....??!!

I looked up and down this thread because I couldnt find what you were talking about...

...duh...I get it now...

I didnt even notice that...maybe it was my subconscious, passive-agressive way of dealing with my loss...lol

I had same thing happen to me. Nothing to do with the MMM or the radio. When crap goes onto the gears in the tranny the car comes to a grinding halt. It turned out an e-clip in the tranny broke for some strange reason and when it went into the gears the car stopped.

hoovhartid 09.25.2008 05:31 AM

this only happened for half a second. everything is running fine now.
I havent been able to get it to happen again.

Sounds like a RX glitch and the ESC popped into fail safe - It it happens a few times it might pay to look at a capacitor for the rx.

Arct1k 09.25.2008 05:47 AM

It could also have been 2.4ghz interference - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2.4ghz_Interference

It still does happen... If you were in the street it could have been a wireless phone, network or a microwave in the area...

i hadd one of these capacitor and nothing desapear my problem was still there:yes:

Arct1k 09.25.2008 06:19 AM

The capacitor only helps if the issue is due to voltage dipping - If it is interference then it won't do anything. Only eliminating the source, rx/antenna placement or upping the gain on the TX would help.

Sammus 09.25.2008 06:52 AM

I had glitching from voltage drops (could see the Rx reset), and added a 1000uf low esr cap to no avail. IT was really strange, with the CCBEC hooked up, the lowest voltage drop I would record stabbing the throttle with an unloaded motor was 13.2 down to 8V - still enormous but still higher than what the ccbec was set at.

Removed the ccbec and no more substantial voltage drops or rx cutouts *shrugs*

RBMike 09.25.2008 10:49 AM

I had a CCBEC used with my MM. I had all kinds of trouble with my Specktrums glitching & loosing their bind with the TX. I switched to a Novak hvbec & no more trouble.
