I'd probably use a big outrunner or dual KB45's, or 1 HV KB45.

Going hv with a kb45 sounds good. I have 2 xl kb45s and have been wondering what to use them in... I will say that the L can motors can draw some juice, but seem to stay reasonably cool in my gtp. I am sure 1 with 8-10s lipo would be plenty to move a heavy 6x6 truck!

I'm assuming it'll be ~20-22lb because it'll have rockets and such on it. You think the KB45 on 10s will handle it? I'll probably use this one:

With lutach's 10s ESC... On 10s... (duh) and gear for high 30's. Me and TDC57 will have some fun killing each other at November or December's SoCal bash!

Should run cool at 25k rpm max, and will have tons of torque.
