I've already done this...insane power for the platform. http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r...y/DSCN1515.jpg 24/38 fit just fine and it had more than enough power, I could go to a 34T spur and whatever the biggest pinion is and still have power left. I wasn't able to get my Rustler completely set up for speed before this thing stripped a stub axle (twisted the U-joint right off). It's very heavy, but it goes like stink! |
Whoa.

JEEZ!!! That'll deff fly now

Done this , been here :) only I was running a Novak 4.5. I only managed right over 70,then it was just to uncontrollable on foams. It would start drifting and correcting would make it go haywire. I did not run lead up front,I added a little wing to the bumper. It had no trouble keeping the front down. But it was very unstable. Good luck with this,I always thought it had 80 in it.For the diff you could try this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...%3D4%26ps%3D42 then use Jato shafts and your about as strong as it gets.

The scary thing is that I can add 2 more A123 cells in the Rustler:diablo:. |
SHEW!! DANG!! I just thought about it and what if you took the tranny out and hooked an outrunner motor up directly to some really strong driveshafts and fitted bigger, more stable tires on it.
