A quick video from yesterday's maiden voyage! The lipos were almost drained at the time I shot the video clip, and the street is a bit short, so I wasn't able to open her up fully. I need to mess with the steering endpoints and adjust the throttle profile a little, but all things considered, the buggy drives very well.
*ps... does anyone else get sent to the russian youtube when you type in the address? I always get redirected to the russian site and can't understand a damn thing. Is my computer infected w/ a virus or am I just too old and dumb for this stuff? http://ru.youtube.com/watch?v=q-TLYjurOoo |
Freaking awesome dude! And only 200 bucks for the buggy? NICE! I see you got the T Phallen theme goin on too

awesome build man...hope my eight comes out that nice

Thanks guys. This was another really fun build. I'm glad that the MMM V2 survived its first bashing session with no hiccups. I plan to leave it 100% stock so that if anything does go wrong, its still eligible for free service. Hopefully nothing will go wrong since I'm only running 4s on this.
Daf, Thanks again for the hook up. You're the man as always! Supra, Yeah, I was real happy to find a mint roller for such a low price. All in all, the conversion cost around $800... not bad at all if you compare it to the price of the Losi E8 RTR. Bustitup, I'm sure yours will come out very nice as well. I like eight's too... but I'm an xray fan through and though. :intello: |
You're welcome!
Hey, what's that city in the background of your pic?? Nice view you got there (I'm sick of mountains  ) |
That's downtown Los Angeles...
|
Great looking conversion! $200 is a steal for a roller in that condition. I just finished an mbx5r and love it. I was going to get an xray but the lhs by the track I go to carries mugen parts.
