+1, in fact I think of it more as trolling.

With the fans failing, do you think it's possible that they overheat and the internal temp shutoff does not work properly and they cook that way?

As efficient as the Esc is i doubt they will hit the temp cutoff (~220*) I dont think anyone has thermalled one yet... :yes:

What about taking the fan out and putting an external one near it if there is room so you do not have to worry about it?

I have a E-Revo Novak HV 6.5 gear at 17/68 I hit 43.5mph I have a E-Maxx Novak HV 6.5 gear at 15/68 I hit 38.5 mph with no Heat ever I have a FLM Savage MMM gear at 20/52 I hit 54mph some times to much is just to much
