You would need powerful batteries. Runtimes with standard NiMh would be extremely short, and they would probably overheat. You would need Lipos capable of handling ~80amps continuous to handle a motor like that. Then you would need a strong controller (Warrior 12020, MGM 120amp, etc). It wouldn't be worth it! (IMO)

Thanks, Metalman now I know. How much is a C-50 Hacker? I can't get their website to comeup.

Around 200-220 dollars( a wanderer or a feigao is way cheaper with the same performance).

The Hacker C50s also use a 12s rotor, put inside a L can. In other words, they aren't all that powerful.

What about the c50 xl. It is rated for 2200 watts of power. I was wonderin why it is rated better than the b50 hacker has.

The main difference between the C50 and B50 is the extra large heatsink that makes it look like a 2230 or 2240 Lehner motor while infact its only a B50L or XL in another body, another morph. Also, Coolhand, these rates are only theoritical ones, but not rated under real conditions. The C50 MAXX for example, as MetalMan clearified, is but a B50 8L or 8s inside a huge heatsink.
