As for the turnigy motor, I have no experience with them, but I hear they are not very good. Your VXL should be better. |
Ok I'll stick with the vxl.

Ok I have a problem. I have no clue what to use for a battery tray. Can anybody help me. How well would a rcm battery tray work? How could I mount it? I will be using Rhino 4900 3s lipos. Here is a link:http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...0C_Lipoly_Pack

theres not much room in a crt.5 to lay the battery flat...so most bats have to go on there side http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16164 |
I used a axial battery mount from my ax-10. It has holes in it that you can use to mount it to the chassis. The back hole fits in the motor screw slot. The front hole has to be drilled. Then the battery stays in place using the velcro straps. I can snap a pic of it tonight when I get home from work.

Thanks.
