i used to race the hot bodies lightning 2 and it was a great buggy so im sure the D8 is too, but keep in mind the losi buggys bigest draw back is that everyone else has them, but that means cheep parts and lots of hop-ups. there never is much after market support for hot bodies products i now bash my lightning 2 and race the 8ight |
ok i will try to get the losi (if i still can ) they might sell out. if it does i will get the d8.
also in the long run i think i will run 12s 2500 in this thing. since it has mech brakes? i will not need a car esc (or will i) hv guys share your knowlage... i dont know what to get first. the buggy or the dx3s |
For that price, I'll get the Losi too.
I was looking at the specs of the Losi and Losi 2.0 and it seems that the chassis was only stretched out for 2mm. Losi: Specifications: Type: Competition Buggy Kit Scale: 1/8 Length: 19.5" (495mm) Width: 12.13" (308mm) Wheelbase: 12.64"- 12.80" (321-325mm) Chassis: 4mm Hard-Anodized 7075 T-6 Aluminum Suspension: H-Arm, fully independent Drive Train: Offset drive with 3 sealed differentials Tire Type: Team Losi Step-Pin Motor or Engine: Not Included (.21 rear exhaust required) Wheel Size: 17mm hex Kit/RTR: Kit Shock Type: Oversized hard anodized, threaded bodies / 4mm shafts Body: Clear racer type Ball Bearings: Complete Fuel Tank Capacity: Adjustable Losi 2.0 Specifications Type: Competition Buggy Race Roller Scale: 1/8 Length: 19.56 inches (497mm) Width: 12.13 inches (308mm) Wheelbase: 12.71 inches - 12.87 inches (323mm - 327mm) Chassis: Tuned Flex Technology 2.0 Drive Train: 4WD Kit/RTR: Race Roller Body: Clear Polycarbonate Buggy |
Best buggy for the money is clearly D8. very forgiving and easy to drive
Then i would say MBX6 , XB808, 8ight 2.0 and then the rest as i dont have experience with RC8, X2 :) thats for racing for bashing of course you cant beat the price of the old 8ight or SH buggy |
