there is a lot of good feedback on the zippy h packs how are the flightmax packs?

The zippy-h's are ok, the packs I have all have a cell or two that discharge significantly quicker than the others, it's still close enough that the packs havent been damaged over many cycles though. My rhinos (4 3s packs in total) all keep their balance spot on cycle after cycle. Some data on any of the 20/25/30c flighmax's would be good.

I'm also very interested in the 30c Flightmaxes. A 4s pack would go nicely into the Slash with an MMM and a Medusa.

4s might be a bit much in a slash:whistle::rofl: |
Lol I nearly wrote the same thing :p I think 2s and a mamba max combo would be plenty.

It's not a Flightmax pack, but it's 4S nonetheless. Click on pic for larger image. http://skellyo.com/fs/Slash_4S/Slash_4S_sm4.JPG |
Damn straight. Overpowered 2wd is where it's at. Besides, Teh madmax Slash is no normal slash!

I just got my 25C 5000mah 3S flightmax lipo with a full charge and tried it out in my emaxx. I recorded a 120A peak at 10.13V. Thats actually not a bad voltage for a burst current which was me full throttle. Oh ya my truerc pack 8000mah 15C was at around 6.4V for the 120A spike. My Truerc pack has outperformed many other lipos I have owned. I would say these flightmax packs are legit. The volt drop per cell is less in the 5000mah pack than the paralleled 4000mah cells that the 8000mah pack is running. So about .3V per cell drop vs .5V per cell drop in the truerc pack. I'm sure these numbers will drop a bunch after the cells have been discharged a bit, but its still some good numbers for the flightmax.

Has anyone tried the 3500mah 4S 30C packs?
According to the dimensions posted, they should fit the E Revo - E maxx compartments for a nice parallel setup. Using 2 packs, that would make for a high discharge setup at 7000mah.:yes: The thing that worries me, often they are a little bigger than the sizes they list. Anyone know? |

If they do fit, your arm would get tired before your batts. run out:yipi: In other words...PERFECT SET UP! |

This is because they used sponge tape between the cells. So the packs are thicker. I'm tempted to take them apart and remove that. They will fit, but just barely. It's quite a job to get the doors shut. LOL The good thing is, they don't break a sweat. They don't even get warm really. I have a feeling I'm not pushing them at all. |
