Depends on the servo torque/speed, weight of vehicle, and tire specs. I would estimate an average servo draw on a truggy with truggy tires to be around 1A-1.5A. At 1A, 2Ah batteries, would last ~120 minutes. At 1.5A, 2Ah batteries would last ~80 minutes.

ok thanks.

do I can use 4 AA rechargeable batteries without any problem for my rx pack ?

I see some threads who peoples said I must use a regulator ...

Depends on torque/speed/number of servos. If using one pretty decent speed/torque digital steering servo, the average load with be around 1A. That will net around 2 hours of "runtime", give or take.

I only run one servo this one :

and for the receiver is this one :

4 AA rechargeable batteries are only 1.2V each for a total of 4.8V. I don't think taht is enough to power your xervos. I'm using 5 2500mah AA rechargeables for my 5955TG servo on my gmaxx.

... I dont want to playing with a 5 cell pack and other addons why dont can keep thing simple ? :grrrrrr:

You asked if you're going to run with problems using 4 rechargeable batteries and I answered your question. If you don't want to hear any inputs, then don't ask any questions.

Just go ahead and use 4 rechargeables but make sure you post your experience so others will know that 4.8V is not enough. 4 AA disposables work as stock since they are 1.5V each for a total of 6V but loses voltage faster compared to rechargeables.

Jason 02.20.2009 07:21 PM

which damage I can get ?

BrianG 02.20.2009 07:24 PM

I don't think you'll "damage" anything, but the receiver may "reboot" when/if the voltage drops much below 4.8v when under heavy servo load.

Like George said If using alkaline cells, 4 is good because they are at 1.5v each (6v). If using NiMHs, 5 rechargeable cells would be better because you'll get around the same 6v.

George16 : sorry bro I just hate find a quick fix on a failure and need to undo this quick fix for something I have to wait for get it.. nothing about you :mdr:

how about this :

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXVTG0&P=7

?

sure this will get me good runtime ;)

that Rx pack will be pretty big, about the same size as a MMM ESC, you might want to go with a pack in the 1400-1600 mah range

Jason 02.21.2009 06:47 AM

this small capacity pack would give me very low runtime...

azjc 02.21.2009 06:56 AM

all the pack is doing is power your Rx, it will give you plenty of run time

I have 1100, 1400, and 1600 mAH Rx packs for my Nitro Rustler and even the 1100 will run for several hours before needing charged. The longest I've EVER run it for was 6 hours. When I started the 1100 was partly used (probably had about 800 mAH left) and I ran it for 2 hours or so before changing out to my 1400 which lasted until I packed it up because it was getting too late to run (darned nitros).

sorry for hijacking the thread , but r these ccbec`s reliable? i heard some horror stories, did anybody have more experience with them ?
thanks
