but does it really work? or is it just urban myth.

I have boiled buggy wings before and they still shatter. And yet some people swear by it.
Its just I'm not convinced it works :C:

I think boiling the parts is actually part of the process of making them. When the evaders first came out, people will constantly breaking parts and it was because duratrax had forgotten the boiling step or they had taken the parts out too early.

I might have to try boiling the next set of gears I put in. The first set lasted two or three weeks with the stock motors. Then brushless went in and after two runs on the local indoor track they are already clicking. Dont feel like dealing with it all the time so I ordered the new inferno st and hope the new sealed oil filled diffs hold up better.
