I noticed I hardly ever used the brakes with my MMM so I thought why not just use an ESC that doesnt have brakes and will stay a lot cooler and that is what I have done. After a 20 mins of hard running the motor and ESC are barely warm the batteries are the warmest component....I cant believe how much cooler it runs versus a 5 or 6s system

that's nice, I m racing but hardly use any brakes too, my hw100 esc runs cool too, wat I m worried is the jumps that will damage the motor without a clutch or slipper diff

There not related.

LOL I guess as much, if I m not wrong mike mention I hv to change the front n rear diff too to use the slipper diff

the slipperential would help you in the case of jumping it will help cushion the shock to the drivetrain

no not yet, I was thinking about upgrading to a smart diff and than the Slipperential has now come out.....but I really dont do a lot of jumping so I might not need it

superek4 03.30.2009 02:03 AM

its a good diff but it's the front n rear diff that I need to change also that's added cost
