thx wat I worry is I can't get my pinion lower than 11t becoz I down size my spur.

I will be using 4s on 11t n 6s on 9t on 46/50 spur

firts race with my mugen this weekend at the track i won a club race last year with almost the same car except nitro.

it was part of 1:10 electric national chaps so we used same system
4x5min qualifier - who knows how many count
3x5min main - 2count

since it was my first ever race with electric i was taking it kinda slowly. especially MGM does not brake strong enough to my liking (its sold now and RX8 frome Mike is on the way).
track was hard packed and very abrasive.
slipperential was at default setting with 17k oil (7k front, 2k rear)
my mugen has MBX6 shocks and pillow balls. BCE chassis, 2mm offset buggy hubs to make it more narrow compared to standard MBX5T

qualified 2nd with only .7s slower run

1st final - 2nd. just did not want push the car too much
2nd final - 2nd messed up start a bit
3rd final - 3rd. got hit from rear (was 1st) after start and thanks to slow marshal eneded up at last 10th place. Well with nothing to loose i started to push the car like I should have from the beginning. Was second with like 2 mins to go but I just wanted to be 1st so pushed even more made small mistake and finished 3rd. the track as just too easy.

5 mins is just not enough.

During the last run I finally had same lap times as with nitro last year and I can get them better with car that will brake better.

Next race is in a month, cant wait for tekin as i really need something that will brake :)

Slipperential worked flawlessly. It makes the car so easy to control.

ok it's was my turn now, i raced with the 50teeth slip diff.

Crt x1 with x2 gearing
4s-6s 5000 zippy
Motor medusa 1600kv
Pinion 16-12t
Esc hobbywing 150
Rcm kit
50 slip diff

I had 2 heats 7min each, the car no longer wheelie n was more stable corner in n out fast without spin out.

I was driving stable n smooth, I did not push d car very hard as the slip diff was sitted with a spacer on each side.

The fastest guy was clocking 37sec me 40sec.

1st heat I finish 5th out of 11drivers second heat I was 1st I did not overturn at all.

Then d finals I was in Amain postion 5th. It was a 25mins main, in 15mins I was second already I was supposed to come back in 20mins to change batt but I changed my mind wanted to push d batt to it max.

I was using 6s 5000 esc set at 3.2v cut off, but at d 20mins my motor desoulder n I hv to retire. My motor was at 60degrees esc 50 n batt 50.

I m happy that d diff made the car so easy to drive. It's a good invention by mike.

Nxt race I will try again with 2000kv medusa n with 8000 batt. N hope to finish first.
