I pulled the center diff last night, and I guess that I just did not get it filled correctly... Looked to be about half full so I added some 100k to it and threw it back together. Much better, it does not blow the front tires up anymore, and it will wheelie easily. Handles much better than the lst, that is for sure.

Finally got around to doing some work on the muggy. Put rpm arms, lst2 rear hubs and front c hubs and some new area al knuckles. Running 17mm hexes and some dish wheels with badlands on it. I also swapped the hacker c50 11xl out for a Neu 1521 1y. Motor temps are down about 20f, and the battery temps are a bit lower too, worst spot on the pack as 125, and the bulk was at 115. The esc fan comes on a bit less too. So the neu is a bit more efficient. Does not feel much more powerful, except the brakes are a bit better. I ran it back to back today once with the hacker and the other time with the neu. The neu will be staying in it, and I plan to put the other 1521 1y in the lst. Good motors, worth the price that is for sure.
So my findings are that the hacker c50 xl motors are about halfway between a 1515 and a 1521. On a side note I tries a MMM/2200 combo in the lst. geared for about 42 with the dish/badlandss combo it did very well. I was surprised how well it moved the heavier lst around, and temps were very good too. I look forward to more 5s testing with the flux motor in the stretched savage. I have a feeling it will be a great combo in that too. |

If I keep reading this thread I will have to buy a muggy soon as well. Maybe the Revo will find a new home to make room for the muggy..... Of course I tried to buy that muggy that you have  But it's all good! Glad you are liking it! :intello: |

Thats what just happened to me yesterday. Traded Revo roller for LST2 roller. Hope to get it by the end of the week. After seeing the 2200 combo in the improperly set up LST linc was running, I was amazed at both the LST and the 2200 combo. I was sold. I can't wait to try it out!!! TexasSP: any pics on your lst yet? Curious on the setup. |

For 5s in the lst the 2200 is the way to go, I am very impressed with the castle motor! |
I meant I tried to buy the muggy from the guy you got it from, you beat me to it by like 5 minutes.

Linc,
I read you plan on putting 23mm 40series wabash wheels on your Muggy. Do they have the same offset as the losi 20mm 420series dishes? |

just wondering how the mmm is holding up in the muggy with the 1521, the 2200kv was not a good fit which i knew but pushed it around great, but the speed control could not handle it, im waiting on my replacement so i can try the medusa 36-80-2000kv which unsullied spy is having goot results with just a bit on the hot side due to gearing. also what does your truck weigh completed, im at 13.5lbs with the rollcage
