I've been running a Feigao 380 for ever, others were running the Lehner 15 series, even the Novak has a rotor similarly sized to a 1100 series. The 1100 series will put out up to 1000 watts in the longest versions, probably about 600 watts in the 1107 variety, plenty if not overkill for 1/10th 2wd. My plan is to upgrade my Feigao (in a T4) for an 1107.

OP, if you do decide to use the 1107, remember that you will need an adapter plate to match it up to your motor plate holes.

Thanks, I'll keep the 1107 in mind, but the price of the Madusa sure is atractive.

Holmes hobbies (in his sig) has that plate he will need

I have thought about using a 3300kv 11 series motor in my T4 as well, I wonder if it really will pull the truck?

No doubt in my mind it will. The 380 in my T4 currently does a great job.

I seen a 1530 lehner in a T4 and it nearly flipped it (i believe it was dual BL's truck but not sure) which Neu motor would be equivalent to a 1530?

A 1530 is a close equivalent to an 1107 at 29x50 mm while the 1107 is ever slightly larger in diameter and slightly shorter in length. A decent 3s pack and a 380 size motor make a great light and efficient setup in 1/10th.
