I've never had a problem with Losi's, that's with a ton of track time using metal spur's. Plastic spur does not come with the kit either. In fact the Losi pinions are quieter for some reason too.

You've also had your gear mesh set properly more than likely.

Same here. I have pinions that are 2 years old now, and you would never be able to tell they are used.

my losi pinion wears alot too, not that much :surprised: but i have been kinda concerned. good know i can fix it  hey Mentat, just curious, but have the dogbone ends of your or anybody else's center drive shafts worn very much on the pins? especially the front one. i've only had mine for acouple month and if U look at the pin from the top, it looks like its nearly half gone. you can definitly see a gap between the outdrive cup and the pin. just curious if this is common aor what i should do to fix, grease maybe, idk. thanks :mdr:

Yes the front center pin wears fast because of the angle it sits at. Mugen makes some nice pins you can use the repin the driveshaft with.

brushlessboy16, what brand pinion is it in your pic? That doesn't look like a Losi one for it has a much larger set screw ?
