I don't understand the point of the mini-revo. I saw one and basically thought it was like an undersized CRT.5 with much crappier parts and construction (like plastic tubes for pushrods..) It seems like its asking to be a money pit. Esp given that Amain lists it for $290 while the Crt.5 is $185 and the Mini STe is $160 respectively and have 1/8th scale quality parts.

The CRT.5 does not come with a BL system and it is much heavier than other trucks its size and therefore requires more powerful setups and larger scale electronics which will make it cost more than the 1/16 Revo in the end.

The 1/16 Revo can be run RTR and is a tough truck once a few parts are replaced.

I just got back from running mine, another buddy bought one today so thats 3 of us now. These little shits run like a raped ape and are tons of fun in numbers. Hopefully a few more guys will get one so we can a bonifide race withem' !

I don't think I'd go for the 250 off $1000 purchase unless I bought a 5B or something.

If I was making small purchases I'd group them so I get the greatest % discount.
