Wow, was wondering what was going on. Wasn't down this long the last time he was hacked....understand why now.

If you read my earlier post the downtime was caused by the company who manages his site sending a bad command, which crashed the site. Robin stated that once they had done that things just kept getting worse. I fear that from the sounds of it they may have to rebuild the entire site for him. That would mean starting from scratch.

From what I have seen the UE store is working just fine. It is only the UE forum that is down.

You guys think robin might just be sick of dealing with it so he just shut the forum down. Its been down way too long if you ask me.

mkrusedc 08.03.2009 11:06 AM

Maybe, but that would suck just as he is starting to produce parts again.

sweetride4me 08.03.2009 11:14 AM

I saw an email from him that said he was basically having to learn SQL to try and fix the problem, the data is not lost just a break in the code to make it all run......

LOL thats a joke right. His first name is scott and he has many times in the past knowingly sold fake UE parts as such and has a hand in having the parts made. He does come across alot a great UE parts and has great shipping but you must beware. The UE crowd doesn't look approving at him.

Not a joke, just unaware of Scott. I guess I'm not part of the UE crowd nor have been for a long time. I sold my Maxx a long time ago....

I feel that it eases tense in a heated thread... As well as pleases the eyes.

Very pleasing.

exchange

The email that I exchanged with Robin was pretty serious. He seems very pissed off and said that he was working very hard to overcome this site issue. Your right that it has been much too long knowing past experiences with the UE site. Maybe he could use a hand from one of you internet guroos in getting the problem resolved. All I know is that he stated that his internet site manager company delivered a command that crashed the site.

As for Billytrucks he is at war with Robin because he is counterfitting UE parts and he was selling them stating that they were genuine UE parts. That issue is what got Robin started on his reproduction line for UE Maxx parts. Peronally I just do not like dealing with dishonest people, so I steer clear of billytrucks.
