it´s not what the manual says. There the wires are soldered horizontally.

If you listen to the video I wired in that vertical direction for "shot" purposes. I wire mine just as you've shown in the picture/manual.

WARNING!!!! I think the link in the first post has a virus. I opened it and looked at one of the pics. After that my pc went to hell. The pic opened then flashed and then an "antivirus" scan started. Now my bitdefender is trashed and my pc is a brick.

The anitvirus on my computer is all up to date with very high settings (my boss keeps the network pretty secure, and yes, this was my computer at work :cry:). It is possible the virus came from somewhere else, but I just wanted to allert people to the possibility of a problem. Whatever this virus is, it took over my entire computer, and a complete re-format is my only option. Now when I start the computer, it does an endless loop of starting up and shuttng down. When I try to start in safe mode, I get a blue screen error.

Well, it could simply be a coincidence. Could be faulty memory, or something similar. Use a tool like Memtest86 (IIRC). It creates a bootable floppy and stresses each mem location. And if the mem is bad and you replace it, you might still have to reformat because data from the bad mem might have corrupted the data on the drive.

I recently decided to redo my wiring for the RX8 so that it's hardwired to the motor. I managed to solder all but the + terminal. I tin post and when i try to connect the wire the solder on the post doesn't want to melt, I'm using a Goot 80w iron, do i need more watts?

did you tin the wire? is the tip on the iron clean?(AKA shiny)
