I just DL'ed the 3.19 castle link, Did you add steps to the car profile? It feels smoother with just the update, still strong (4600mm setup/2s) but smoother and more composed. I heard of some problems with the 1.23 version of the car (sensored, but i didn't want to take chances) programming so i went with the 1.22. Thanks for making the best better.

This thread is about the updated Castle Link software (on the PC), not the software on your MMM. There is another thread in the sticky area for desired changes to MMM/MM software.

And I guess it won't do Vista w/ the MM yet?

It works perfectly now with both Vista 32/64 and Windows 7 32/64 - Hats off to the guys at Castle for making that magic happen...

To get the MM to work with Windows x64:

1) Install software as Admin on x64 AND an x32 machine
2) Flash MM to lastest firmware using x32 machine and normal USB cable
3) Connect MM to x64 machine using castle link
4) Send a Pizza to Castle Support and Engineering desks
5) Sleep easy...

Thank you sir - I think you'll sell a bunch more if you can...

Ah! So that's the trick... didn't think to try it after I updated it on 32-bit XP.

Yep sorry, 64 bit... Yeah, it still don't have the 32 bit machine to start the update with... 2 more weeks.

Well, it looks like my plans for a laptop/netbook w/Vista 32 are out... HP has 7 on everything now... (that's what my certificate is for direct from HP...)

suicideneil 11.07.2009 07:35 AM

And thats a bad thing? What about one of those dongles that has 32bit XP installed on it- any way of booting from that to do what you need to (thats assuming the dongle doesnt cost stupid sums of money, which it will ofcourse...)?

There is an XP mode in Win7... maybe that will work; *maybe*.

Only in the proffessional version, home versions do not.
