Im not suprised the shocks have a hard time- they are tiny compared to the rest of the truck :lol:

Looks great though, and good temps- that was 120-140*F, not *C right?

1st time I have seen this done, but I have thought for a while that it would work fine. Just finding stock that is the correct thickness, looks like brass shim stock you are using?

I don't even think the 0.4mm shims are essential, I have been running a Revo with 23mm hex adapters and HPI Baja front wheels all round geared for 35-40mph and it's been fine. No sign of excess wear on the hubs or rims, and any extra "slop" is negligable.

Of course it's in °F!!! it's not a nitro engine lol!

It's! yes

the 0.4 shims are maybe not essantial but it's very very easy to do... 10min of work and u ll nerver had problems...


Anyone know how to protect electric part? i mean some 1/5 car have protection against dirt like this one:

just get some styrene stock and form your own,its easy to do and cheap.--josh

Nice to see some ideas like i had.

What shock oil and shock holes (erevo stock?) you used?
Do you use this springs because of me? (i do not know how to write it :D)

Is the frontbumper fixed very strong?
Do you noticed any work of the sway bar against this stiff springs?

Very nice to have somebody with same "vehicle" :)
