These will be in the store VERY soon, Jerry. I have been busy with maintaining current items during the holiday rush, along with trying to get some family time in, but these are on "the list". These are a little bit of a pain to make, along with being a specialty item in many ways, so I have to work them in between the "bread and butter" stuff. I think there are enough folks waiting to justify the production of them - just need to work them into production. I hate to make any more empty promises for a timeline, but I am going to TRY to finish 20 or 30 of these this week. :) Happy New Year! Monster |

Yea you can just install a straight up diff unit, but that gives you pretty much a direct drive setup. The slipperential would be a nice addition which would give you better setup adjustment capabilities, and some protection for your drivetrain.

Sounds good ! without it you'd have to be close on the setup or have a really good esc and packs to handle voltage spikes or binding drivetrain. This would be nice in a racer or extreme basher. don't think it would fit in my flm tranny forward chasis so if i break more than a few times i may have to look into a kershaw because of my chasis.

What setup are you running in the savage?
MMM and Rx8 should handle direct drive fine- dont think it makes a huge difference... Working on the updated cad model now |
No system on the truck at the moment i'm kinda waiting around to see end weight of truck but i won't be getting a MMM it will never do i started out wrong on everything out the box but 6s won't be enough for me my truck is a SO HEAVY that it worries me and on the diffs i'm waitting on the diffs thats on the hpi europe site no need for the cenn stuff hpi just made there own better than the bullet proof stuff they have now. it still will be an all castle system :lol:

you need little "ears" where the horizontal part attaches to the motor mount, otherwise the screw heads sticking out the back will interfere with the motor. Looking good.
