Befoer you give up on the vxl system try some much thicker fluid in the center diff. I have a feeling you will like it much better!
|
i suspect that too, i got more punch out of it also with a123s, so i need bigger lipos. i did also throw my 2.8 stampede wheels/tires on and it did great for the truck, so i supect my gearing is low and lipo's too small. i do plan on getting fluids changed next chance i get to wrench on it.
i want larger tires, but the 2.8's are big so i'll be looking for some 2.2's for it since this is just a basher |
Lots of people use the 2.2 ProLine Gladiators. Planning on buying a set myself, but didn't come around to it.

Gladiators are a good tires, I ran them on my crt.5 and liked them. It was the stretched rcm chassis though. I preferred the ste with the stock wheels and tires, kept it light and nimble.

i'm wondering how the losi smashers i think is what their called would do, that upgrade will come down the road so i'll just not overthink it now.

okay, i'm just going to keep this in this thread.
what is the difference between the xerun, ezrun, sustain esc's, and what ever else i missed. i can read the specs to see 3 4 or 6 cell and amp ratings, but besides the different modles, are these almost the same esc's? |
well, i got some ofna 10k in the center and that helped alot in the truck. didn't realize the thing was almost bone dry in there. i need to go thru the front and rears now. its starting to take shape now. i was a bit worried after all the talk i've seen for this truck and what i was getting out of it. i was wanting something to replace the smiles my ls10 gave me and it was far from that but the center diff fluid is getting closer. hugh difference. good call.
