From Tekin's point of you... You don't want to have too universal ESC out there :) But lets hope there will be a firmware update making RX8 even more powerful and versatile! MMP is ;)

i've got the rs pro and the rx8. i've also got both the unsensored and sensored motors. in my experience of testing, i don't think the turbo on an rs pro makes the same motor faster than an rx8 would. the rx8 just dosen't have the opportunity to adjust when or how smoothly it's applied like the adjustability on a hotwire with an rs pro could.

I understand your point but when racing stock touring then that small thing can give or take the crucial 0.05s per lap that you need ;)

i use it on my tc5 with the 17.5 class. it does help when you have a big track with a long straightaway, but with smaller tracks, i didn't really see much benefit imo.

We're working on some RX8 software...we don't need sensored only mode as Turbo and more timing isn't the answer for more speed....

A friend of mine tested my RX8 on 1/10 sedan touring car stock 17.5T. With added timing it was noticeably faster than the regular older touring ESCs (LRP Sphere, Novak GTB). If RX8 would have the same adjusting like RS and RS PRO has, then it would be a killer. Sure, it is BIG for 1/10 touring but you can run and run fast!

You guys really need to get an RS or RS pro for 1/10. The RX8 is not for 1/10, it's just too big & heavy. Leave it in your 1/8th.
