Welps, my dad took me on a quick Fry's run, I had the same stuff (AMD Athlon II X4 620 and Biostar A770E3 and same RAM) on hold for me.

Silly guy didn't believe me that the stuff behind him was under my name, I had to go find the guy whom I talked to (I love having a slightly good memory of voices), and had him come over and identify me as the person who had to return it (Under my address and such)

My dad decided to wander off, and grab this:
Corsair XMS3 4GB 1333mhz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-251-_-Product

So basically, I'm running this RAM, if it crashes again, we'll toss in the other exchanged RAM, if that crashes, I guess we'll have to run back to Fry's and pick up a new mobo and processor, and go from there.

I'm really thankful Fry's is only about 8 miles roundtrip, while some people may have a Fry's 10 miles, one way...
I've made at least 3 visits, and one guy in Returns knows me quite well.....

Anyways, so far using the new RAM, it's booted up faster, a lot faster, may mean nothing, but meh.

I'm gonna keep using it for a few days, if it works flawlessly, toss in the exchanged RAM, if it works, then we'll exchange it for a newer box, if possible, if not just keep the exchanged RAM and return the XMS3.

Confusing, yes... But hopefully it'll be worth it.

Still trying to revive my imploded SATA drive.. Doesn't detect it at all, not even BIOS, BIOS freezes (well, doesn't freeze, but refuses to start) trying to detect my SATAs...

Really a bummer, I had a few school folders that I really need, and would like back, a few Final's as well.... Heard rumors about freezing it, dropping it, meh, doubt I'll do them, might just keep it as my favorite paperweight... Anyone ever try to revive one of these?

You could try putting it in a ziploc bag and freezing it overnight in the freezer. I did this at my old tech job for "dead" drives and I managed to get some drives to live long enough to pull data off of them. But it sounds like the controller board itself is bad because the BIOS can't even recognize it, in which case, your pretty much screwed unless you get the EXACT same drive and attempt to swap the PCB boards on them which i've heard people do.

Sounds like a plan, though, I can hear and feel (inside the antistatic bag outside of my case, wasn't trying to mount it.) the disc wind up and run, but it won't read, at all.

Too much hassle.

It seems like you are going through too much hassle for a new system. I would just take it back and get a replacement for the whole shooting match. Start fresh and be safe. If you try to do too much with it, you are going to end up having it thrown back in your face that you messed it up.

I too was thinking this, which was why I had the processor and motherboard and RAM on hold for me...

My dad just decided to try the RAM first.
