Btw, what motor are you running and what gearing are you using for bashing on 5S?

Looks to be a CC/Neu 2200kv on 5s.

I love all the Team Losi stickers and parts all over the Team Associated vehicle!! Great combo!

How were those savage tires on the track? and what were the track conditions?

the motor is a neu 2200, and the gearing is 50/16 on 5S. my motor temps haven't gotten over about 125 degrees yet. it's very effecient.

thanks!

once the savage tires are belted, they handle great. the track conditions are heavy soft clay with a little track moisture. it's great for racing. i'll try to get pics up tomorrow.

Interesting... ok, I'll have to try 50/16 again!

Mmms.. according to Brian's calc (http://www.scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/_top_speed.html) that seems a tad high gearing.

I ran for 40 minutes+ at the track yesterday with no heat issues. the only issue i did have was that i kept breaking my wing mount so i ordered an aluminum one to try. everything else has been great with this truggy. i'm really enjoying it. (pics coming soon. i keep forgetting my camera.)
