I got a 50t delrin one, the steel is so noisy that I thought it might help, and I have had good luck with plastic spurs when I had my 4x4 SC. I think I will probably put either 7 or 10k in it and go from there,

Cool! It will be interesting to hear your results. I was thinking that I would give the delrin a try sometime. What is loud for brushless doesn’t compare to nitro.

True but the sound of a nitro engine sounds way better then 2 noisy gears going by on the straight.:mdr:

Hi, the delrin one you picked is for the slipperential or for the stoch differential? because I'm sarching for a compatible Spur for stock differential. Kyosho ones do not exactly direct fit, and I don't want to have silicone leakage.
Have heard about AE ones
Anyone knows?

Thanks

I am replacing the center diff with a slipperential, as far as I know AE plastic spurs will fit the xray diffs, you just need the ae orings for the spur as well.

The truggy is just beautifull, and with the slipperential it will be perfect in every way!

Thanks, will have a couple of pics of the truck with the slipperential installed soon. Gearing is 14/50, which I think should be good for around here, 16/48 was to tall.

Looks great! Hows that delrin gear working? Silent?

Awesome truck! I have an XRAY XB808 2010 Spec Buggy and a 2009 Spec Buggy, both with Mike's BL Conversion kits on them, and it just doesn't get any better! A soon as the new XRAY Truggy comes out, I am going to buy it, then wait on Mike to make a conversion for it!!!

XRAY really is the finest in radio control, they make the absolute best parts & vehicles...IMO!

Any updates on this truck? The layout is so clean, so simple.

SavageCanadian 04.30.2011 03:19 PM

Well im taking it out to its first race tomorrow and I cant wait, picked up a hudy 1/8 setup station so once i dial it in it should be a bullet.

SavageCanadian 05.02.2011 01:20 PM

Well ran it yestorday, its definatly a lot quieter with the delrin spur. The truggy is crazy fast, I was .4 of a second off beating the track record on a dirt track and half worn out tires. Love this truck:yipi:

This truck is up for sale, anyone interested email me at savage25canadian@hotmail.com
