Well, the first thing I would do is a little tricky, you will need a dremel or something similar because you will have to cut both the front & rear housing where the diffs are because rocks can get trapped there and the belts will snap. Also if you want it to drift you can lock the the rear diff, I used a glue gun & then change the front diff to a one way unit. With that setup it will perform pretty good. Right now I replaced some parts to aluminum & I also replaced the chassis to aluminum so it would add some heft to it. Oh yeah you probably want to replace the dampers to aluminum. As far as the bodies, there's a lot of body options, I just bought the HPI Lexus ISF body for mine.

Not sure if you guys know, but there is another forum about the GT/GT2 & Landmax here: http://forums.radiocontrolzone.com/f...play.php?f=345

We have written in there since 1000BC. You can ask for a second hand car as they often pop up. Most of em, like me, are die hard Kyosho nutters and would prefer to help you out rather than make profit. I have sent a heap of parts to the US, sometimes free, just to get a fan up and running. Works backwards for me with US, UK help.

Some of the brushless 1/8's were down many many years ago.

Well, Iīm here again, I want this project finished for the spring...And now I got a bigger budget to play with so I have started to think 1/8, It feels more controlable on 5 or 6s, Iīm thinking of using this esc instead wich I have in my revo:

And this motor:

But on what platform!?

I have been thinking of:

subaru impreza body

Hpi wheels:

Hpi tires:

For the street and:

Hpi wheels:

Tamiya tires:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGG35&P=7

For the rest.

A stock 1/16 scale mini revo/summit/slash/rally has a wheelbase of 21cm. If I extend it in the front with a traxxas cvd/integy/customparts hybrid It will be 26cm, perfect for that body and all other 200mm bodys.

If I go for this I will use the Old esc/motor combo I listed and run 4s.

But.... I want to build a 1/8 scale, feels more controllable at high speeds, feels more "real".

I want a platform that isnīt rare to find.... And I want it to be easy to find spare parts.. Thatīs why itīs tempting to build of a traxxas 1/16 chassis...I have built a few revos with alot of different setups, driven them for many hours so the reability of a build like that wouldnīt be a problem, itīs just that I want it bigger.....

Maybe this one?

Help a black man out.

Ofna has the 1/8 GTP it's a brushless specific onroad car.It comes as a rolling chassis.I had 1of these cars and it was a blast.

THIS is the one you want. The other 1/8th you linked to is the dirt oval model... I believe it has a few "dirt oval" specific parts. The one I linked to is specifically for on road. I had a GTP as well, they are a blast!
