I like the built-in telemetry function. I asked MGM which telemetry systems will be supported and this is the reply I got:

"We will add more telemetry systems asap but it also depends on telemetry producers if they provide their telemetry datasheet - after having datasheet we can add any telemetry system."

These data can be transfered (taken from the preliminary manual):
- main (traction) battery voltage (respectively voltage of lower cell)
- main battery current
- temperature of the battery (when is measured)
- rpm of the motor
- motor temperature (if measured)
- controller temperature
- BEC voltage
- BEC current
- BEC temperature

Finally an ESC that can match the maxamp race edition lipos.

I agree Castle is one of the best, and I am quite loyal to them. But that doesn't mean I'm not interested in trying other things. That's how we find out which products are the best and discover which companies know what they are doing. It's good to know Castle is reliable and a gold standard for brushless, but I don't think I am going to deny other companies a chance because of that.

Besides, this ESC is offering something totally different from what Castle is offering, so it's not really a betrayal anyways.

MGM ESC's

I agree. MGM is doing things that no other ESC company is doing with complete telemitry options. Who wouldn't like to have real time data while driving to keep an eye on how the vehicle is doing. Just another high tech feature for us to play with.
