The aveox is threaded for 2.5mm screws vs. 3mm Interesting... But it makes It Lighter!

Whoops. forgot to tell you the threads are std not metric. Not sure of the size, 4-40 maybe. If you have a lst the small m3 looking screws are the ones. Never was good with std threads. I have always just used the screws that I acquired with my lst...

Maybe someone else could help? Looking for the std thread size closest to m3, but slightly smaller.

I found that the ones that hold the battery vents on from the e-revo fit it. Once i get the motor mount ill test mount it.

Taking a chance on this esc http://www.bidproduct.com/part/Produ...0ESC_101c.html
i have no esc's at the current time except for a 30amp hobbycity one which i must say i am impressed with. runs my vendetta with tons of power. A little on the warm side but what do you expect for $14 ? I was expecting 15 feet and then a fire ball but no. i have 30+ runs on the sucker and it keeps ticking! So i figure give this one a shot. For 4s running at least it looks good. I have the mgm for everything else. I hope it doesnt lay an egg on me. If it does.....lesson learned. If they are worth a hoot i may buy a few sets of them and sell them locally

Nice progress!

Are you still going for 8s? I´m wondering since the esc you linked is limited to 4s...

I assume that it´s from this family of escs:

I have had several of them in my revo conversions, they are great. One Important thing tho, they do have a "car version" of it..:

But I could never get the breaks to work properly, no mather what setting I used they would lockup.

If you are going for 8s I suggest this one with mecanical breakes:

Good luck!

EDIT: Nevermind, didn't look closely at the ESC. Thought it was a plane ESC.

I have a mgm 16024, im just not going to run it all the time since its such an expensive esc i don't wanna burn it up

Updates!
I have chosen my lipos for this setup.

these should do nicely for my 8s setup and be good for hot laps on 4s light setups

This Motor looks So good. C50 = One of the hottest looking motors ever next to the bigmax

Only 4s on the buggy right now. Waiting on an extra pack to make it the full 8s
