This was on 5s, and 45mph gearing, and higher outside temps than before (45-50f).
So the conclusion must be that my T8 2000kv is either worn out, has a problem, or just to small for the truck/driving style.

Well I have the T8 truggy motors in 2250 and 2000kv. No matter what, with same gearing, voltage and batts my CC 1515 motor runs way cooler. Not even by a little bit but a lot. These are all brand new motors and I have never taken them past 160F and the CC 1515 is second hand so I have no idea on it's past history. I seriously believe that Castle/Neu motors are either more efficient or have more torque. I think it's the latter of the two to be honest as it seems that I get the same run times with either and have more punch too with the CC motor. I know my Revo could never do a standing backflip on 4S (could with 6S though) with either of the Tekin motors wheres CC 1515 did it with ease. Still I have to say I love the smoothness of the Tekin system.
