I wonder if you could put a out runner on a emaxx and run it with long run time and great power.

I had AXI 4120/14 on e-maxx with 12 cells. Runs pretty cool, but only MGM ComPro was able to run due to the high RPM limit.

What kind of run times you get and how was the torque?
I may try one to see. I don't know which one will bolt up.
I have a mgm 12012. I think that would work out for a test run.

I was getting around 12-15 minutes, but it was very light truck. It had t-maxx chassis and e-maxx tranny with 1/8 buggy wheels. Motor was too big in diameter to fit on stock e-maxx mount, so custom motor mount was fabricated and tranny become single speed with AXI motor driving idler gear direct. With ability to switch motor location from front to back. Later it was simplified with tiny wheels and Dewalt motor.
I used 13t gear from e-maxx tranny input shaft, after drilling it out to 6mm, as pinion for 6mm AXI motor shaft. Now you can get mod1 gear with 6mm bore from Mike.

You will have some challenges with motor cooling and rotating parts :)

I was looking at a 2826/10. Do you think this would work out well. It is not as powerful as the one you tested. I know it wouldn't be a speed demon either.

I think it should fit and you can gear it with more options. I will be curious on its performance. Not to change general idea, but have you consider MEGA motors, they are 6-pole inrunners and should offer good torque as well.
