Foam under the esc would be a VERY smart thing to do. It sounds as though your shaking something loose in the esc's.

I was running MGM 160 and Plet. BigMaximum with 46/14 on 12 cells with no problems. And 10L will meltdown at 160A continuous (in reality magnet will come loose from the shaft) before MGM's failure, but vibration can destroy ESC. Foam is great.
If ESC in blown then LED can be in any state and any color :)
