Spider diff's are very good diff's ...
I use them in all my trucks

Tinus, who are the manufactures of these diffs? I am new at this, that's why I am asking. I did see this info on certain sites - though

tinuss 10.08.2016 08:38 AM

we got a group buy off ebay a while back

u can not go wrong with them

Maxxamongus 10.08.2016 11:39 AM

Tinuss, what is the part number and manufacture's name that refers to these gears? Is there just one manufacture - Ofna?

Maxxamongus 10.08.2016 05:40 PM

Have another question. How are the 1/8 diffs gears going to affect a stock E-Maxx transmission? The transmission is from 3905, 3903 or 3908.

Maxxamongus 10.12.2016 07:00 PM

Well, I got my answer to the above question.

Just ordered diff gears kit for the V-Maxx build. Look forward to the build. Does anyone use Mugen or Team Associated diffs? I'm researching for two other diff gears kits now for the other trucks. Presently checking our Kyosho.

Mugen: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mugen-1-8-MG...EAAOSw5VFWM-0Z

Team Associated: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AE-Team-Asso...cAAOSwnNBXTmz9

Okay, I've settled the issue regarding the various diff gears. But, I now have a question regarding the bearings for the pinion gears for the FLM 1/8 hybrid diff cases. What bearings do I use? Any suggestions would help my research. The reason I have these questions ; this is my first build from scratch. THANKS!

HPI dffs are in FLM diff case for the build and I am looking at Mugen and Team Associated for the other trucks. Learning more through research and applying knowledge to the build. Thanks everyone for your help. Some pics of progress so far:

Still working on the V-MAXX build. I am reasearching for metal gears for the transmission which is the next step of this build. Also, I purchased two more diff kits for the number two truck upgrade. I am learning in the process of the build and upgrades to the two other E-Maxx's.

Are you going with an Emaxx transmission? If so the newer trams are metal gears already.

Maxxamongus 12.03.2016 11:04 PM

Thanks Nitrostarter! And yes that was the direction I was going. Your info helps with the next step in the build.
